Article and summary of article provided Questionnaire based on the article CPD POINTS: 3 Clinical CPD Points on completion of webinar and questionnaire on article Duration of webinar: Approximately 30 minutes Presenter Information: Jacqui Jorge, Occupational Therapist at Sensory Matters Jacqui completed her studies in 2005 at the University of Pretoria. Following her community service year in 2006, she started her pediatric private practice in Edenvale. In 2008, Sensory Matters Occupational Therapy was formed together with her business partner Jacklynn Langkilde and it has since grown to include practices in Benoni, Edenvale, and Bedfordview. Jacqui obtained her Master’s Degree in OT through WITS in 2012, which included her Sensory Integration training. She published the findings of this research in the SAJOT in November 2013 and was listed in October 2014 on a UK website as having performed valuable research in the field of ‘fussy babies’ with sensory processing challenges. She also completed her training in Neurodevelopmental Therapy and Advanced training in infants and is trained in the SOS approach to feeding. In addition, she has attended many short courses on various topics such as SI In infants, DIR, Therapeutic listening, Makaton, Hands-on Autism, and CVI Range. Jacqui has a passion for training and educating colleagues, parents, and teachers on topics relating to childhood development. She has obtained further training in TRE (Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises), as well as her diploma in Cranio Sacral Therapy. She is the mother of 2 teens – they have been her teachers in the joys and challenges of raising children.
